Blackbird Bucks Incentive Program

Congratulations!  As a proud current or past owner or rider of an Offspring by our incredible Stallion ~ Smart Blackbird ~  you are eligible to submit your and/or your horse's earnings from the previous calendar year, into the Blackbird Bucks Incentive Fund! 

The fund will pay out $1,000 annually, to be divided 50/50 between a horse owner (or possibly a past owner if within the same year) and an individual rider who have earned the highest dollar amounts in that given year, while aboard a Smart Blackbird offspring!  

This Annual Incentive Fund allows any Owner or Rider, past or current, within a given year, who owned/owns or rode a Smart Blackbird offspring, to submit their total earnings earned while owning and/or riding the horse.  For either Rider or Horse, earnings cannot be combined to include more than one horse, if you are riding or own two or more horses that qualify, a form must be submitted under each of the horse's name.  Earnings are calculated per horse/per rider.

If you owned a Smart Blackbird offspring for only a portion of the year, you can still submit your and your horse's earnings during the time you owned the horse!  The total earnings per rider and per horse must be submitted no later than May 1st of the following year, in which the money was earned.

Your trainer can also qualify under the Incentive Fund, by submitting his earnings while riding a Smart Blackbird Offspring - please note, should a trainer ride three different Smart Blackbird Offspring, he/she must submit three forms, one for each of the horses as they will be calculated individually, and not as a grouped earnings.

For example; If a trainer is showing your horse in an event in the Open class and earns $50.00 while riding the horse, this would be documented as $50 for the trainer and $50 for the horse.  If on the same day, you enter the same horse into a novice class and earn $25, on the same horse, the total for the day would appear as;

If the trainer shows a second horse on the same day, owned by yourself or someone else, and he/she earns $40 on the second horse, the total for the day would appear;

Earnings must be from an event in which the Smart Blackbird offspring participated in, and earnings of the rider must be while riding a Smart Blackbird Offspring.  Earnings can be from any event, to include but not limited to AQHA, NRCHA, NRHA or any other non-affiliate club! 

Proof of earnings must be provided with your submission(s), copies of cheques from the organization is sufficient in providing proof of earnings.  It is your responsibility to ascertain that the information is received, post marked, no later than May 1st.  Any submissions after that date will be disqualified.

**We are confident that the Blackbird Bucks Incentive Fund will not only provide Riders and Trainers with an added bonus in owning and riding an Offspring from Smart Blackbird, but it makes your foals/horses more valuable as the monetary Incentive to purchase a Smart Blackbird Offspring can be quite significant as well!**

Blackbird Bucks Incentive Fund winners will be contacted and their names updated to www.fieldstonefarm.ca.

*Fieldstone Farm reserves the right to cancel the Blackbird Bucks Incentive Fund without liability with one year's prior notification on their website at www.fieldstonefarm.ca.   Should the Stallion Smart Blackbird be unsound for breeding purposes, the Blackbird Bucks Incentive Fund will continue until notification of discontinuation is provided as indicated above.
